An algorithm that is driven by content rather than followers. That means what you make counts for more than who you are.

On almost every platform, your follower count determines your reach. Not on TikTok: the algorithm tests every video with a small audience and scales up if people keep watching. So an account with no history can still build reach.
Showing works better than telling. The first second decides whether someone keeps watching, and an ad that looks like an ad gets swiped away. Material that feels like ordinary content consistently performs better.
Strong with a younger audience and for products you can demonstrate. Less suitable if your audience is business-to-business and can be targeted by job title — then LinkedIn makes more sense.
