Plug-ins are the problem

Most slow and hacked WordPress sites share the same pattern: dozens of plug-ins, half of which haven't been updated in years. Every plug-in is third-party code with access to your site. We keep the number as low as possible.

Maintenance is not optional

A WordPress site that hasn't been updated for a year is a problem waiting to happen. Updates, backups and monitoring are part of the system — if you don't schedule them, you pay for it later in repair costs.
